Idaho State men’s basketball lost to Northern Colorado 85-72 on Thursday night at Bank of Colorado Arena in Greeley, Colorado. The Bengals’ record now stands at 8–8 overall and 1–2 in Big Sky Conference play, while the Bears improved to 11–5 overall.
Northern Colorado established control early with strong perimeter shooting, building a 15-point lead by halftime. The Bears shot 50 percent from the field and made 10 three-pointers in the first half.
After halftime, Idaho State increased its offensive efficiency, shooting nearly 58 percent from the field in the second half. Despite these efforts, Idaho State could not close the gap as Northern Colorado continued to respond with timely three-pointers late in the game. “A pair of late Zach Bloch three-pointer’s for Northern Colorado, sealed the outcome for the Bears as Idaho State was unable to string together consecutive stops down the stretch.”

Northern Colorado shot over fifty-one percent from the field and nearly forty-six percent from three-point range, hitting sixteen threes in total.
