Talking about Teaching: PIE Faculty Reading Group for Spring | Pexels by Katerina Holmes
Faculty are invited to join the Program for Instructional Effectiveness (PIE) for Talking about Teaching, a faculty book discussion group this spring.
This semester, Mark McBeth will facilitate a discussion of "Super Courses: The Future of Teaching and Learning by Ken Bain.
"The group will meet on three Thursdays: January 26, February 16, and March 9 from 4-5:15 p.m. Input from the participants will determine whether the meetings will take place in person or on Zoom. Participants will be provided a copy of the book. Because we want to ensure rich and productive conversations, the group will be limited to 12-15 faculty participants who will be selected on a first-come, first-served basis.
