Census Bureau: 73.9% of people in Bannock County were old enough to vote in 2021

Of the 86,362 citizens living in Bannock County in 2021, 73.9% were old enough to vote, equating to 63,813 individuals, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained on Oct. 26.

Further breakdown reveals that of the voting-eligible population, 31,688 were male, constituting 49.7%, and 32,125 were female, making up 50.3%.

The percentage of citizens old enough to vote in Bannock County during 2021 was lower than the state average, which stands at 74.7%.
